Since 2001 about 10.000 products from over 200 manufacturers/producers have been certified.
Guidelines include:
- Organic raw material of plant origin
- Raw material from animals is allowed (milk, honey), but no dead vertebrates (like fat or living cells).
- Physical production processes allowed
Substances that are not allowed:
- Organic-synthetic dyes
- Synthetic fragrances
- Ethoxylated raw materials
- Silicones
- Paraffin and other petroleum derived products
